Travel has and continues to expand my perspective and creative inspiration, but I’m always finding myself pulled back to the smell of magnolias blooming in Winston Salem or the Carolina blue sky reflected in the buildings’ facade. My new home in Texas provides a similar sense of warm nostalgia. The patterns I find in urban facades, the excitement of western culture, and the meeting of hillsides with orthogonal architecture all provide endless inspiration that grounds my work.
